Habitat for Humanity Partnership
4 homes built since 2019We proudly partner with Habitat for Humanity of Comal County, donating construction expertise, labor hours, and building materials to help families achieve the dream of homeownership. Sonja personally leads build days, bringing the same quality craftsmanship to every Habitat home that she brings to our custom projects.
Veterans Home Repair Program
15+ veteran homes improvedThrough our partnership with local veterans organizations, we provide free home repair and accessibility modifications for veterans and their families in the greater Austin area. From wheelchair ramps to bathroom modifications, we ensure our veterans live safely and comfortably in their homes.
Youth Trade Education
20+ students mentoredSonja is passionate about mentoring the next generation of builders. We partner with local high schools and trade programs to provide job shadowing, apprenticeships, and scholarship support. As a 3rd-generation builder, Sonja knows the value of passing on hands-on skills to young people.
Hill Country Conservation
Eco-conscious building standardsWe are committed to sustainable building practices that protect the natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country. We support local land conservation efforts, use sustainable materials when possible, and design homes that work with the landscape rather than against it.
Annual Community Build Day
6 annual events and countingEvery year, L&M organizes a community build day where our team, subcontractors, and local volunteers come together for a day of service. Past projects include playground construction, community center renovations, and park improvements throughout Comal County.
Disaster Recovery Support
Rapid response team readyWhen severe weather strikes our community, L&M is among the first to respond. We provide emergency repairs, tarping, and rebuilding services for families affected by storms and flooding. Our team mobilizes quickly because we know these are our neighbors and friends.
